SLINGSTAR

Coming soon to iOS and Android

SLINGSTAR

Your finger is a gravity well.

Hold anywhere and the comet bends towards you. Let go and it flies straight on. Dive into the curve, release at the perfect moment, graze the wall by a pixel and shave off hundredths.

One finger, three decisions

No buttons, no joystick. Where you press and how long you hold it is the whole game.

  1. 01

    Hold

Press anywhere on the screen. That point becomes a gravity well and the comet curves towards it — the closer you press, the harder it pulls.

  2. 02

    Aim

Drag while holding to move the well and carve the line you want. Holding drains energy, so the perfect line is also the cheapest one.

  3. 03

    Release

Let go and the comet keeps the speed it has. Release a frame late and you kiss the wall; a frame early and you drift wide. That frame is the whole sport.

Two rules that decide every race

  • Grazing a wall without touching it gives you speed. The closer you dare, the faster you go.
  • A crash costs about a second and a half — the comet rewinds and you keep racing, but the clock does not.

Four ways to race

The same physics everywhere. Only what is at stake changes.

Competitive

Duel

You race the recorded run of a real pilot whose rating is close to yours, on the same track. Their ghost runs on screen with you and the gap shows at every checkpoint. One attempt, no pause, leaving counts as a loss.

  • Asynchronous: nobody waits for anybody
  • When no human run fits, the rival is a bot and is always labelled BOT
  • Rating moves with the margin, not just the win
Every day

Daily challenge

One track for everyone on the planet, for 24 hours. Unlimited attempts, only your best time counts. The leaderboard shows the pilot right above you — usually two tenths away.

  • Same seed for every player, everywhere
  • Resets at 00:00 UTC
  • Your best run becomes a ghost others chase
Solo

Career

100 hand-checked tracks in 10 stages. Every stage introduces a new hazard: boosters, bumpers, moving blocks, rotating bars, null fields where your gravity well simply stops working.

  • Four medals per track: bronze, silver, gold, author
  • Difficulty climbs stage by stage, and every track is different
  • Works fully offline
Training

Practice

The season's duel tracks, on your own, against the ghost of your personal best. No rating at risk — this is where you find the half second you are missing.

  • Your own ghost as the rival
  • Restart instantly, as often as you like
  • Same tracks you will meet in duels

Bronze to Legend

A rating that means something, because every run is checked.

  • Bronze
  • Silver
  • Gold
  • Platinum
  • Diamond
  • Master
  • Legend
  • 5placement matches open your season
  • 28days per season, then a soft rating reset
  • 7tiers, from Bronze to Legend

Seasons last 28 days. You start with five placement matches, then every duel moves your rating by how much you won or lost by. At the end of a season ratings are pulled back towards the middle, so Legend has to be earned again.

A leaderboard you can believe

The whole game is deterministic: the same inputs always produce the exact same run, on every device.

Every run is re-simulated

You do not send us a time — you send the timing of your touches. Our server replays them in the same physics and computes the time itself. If the two disagree, the run does not count.

No bots in disguise

Computer rivals exist so that you never wait for a match, and they are always shown as BOT. A human ghost is never labelled as anything else.

Nothing that matters is for sale

Characters and trails are unlocked with star dust you earn by racing. The one purchase in the game removes ads. No boosts, no retries, no shortcuts.

Six pilots, six ways to fly

Every character handles differently, and all of them are unlocked with star dust you earn by racing — never with money. The spread between the fastest and the slowest is under three percent, so your choice is taste, not power.

Questions

How much does it cost?

Nothing. The game is free and shows ads. There is one optional purchase that removes them, and rewarded videos are never forced — you only watch one if you choose to.

Is there pay-to-win?

No. Nothing that affects a race is for sale. Characters and trails are earned with star dust from playing, and the handling difference between characters is deliberately tiny.

Do I need an account?

No. You can play everything without signing in. Linking a Google or Apple account is optional and only exists so your rating survives a reinstall or a new phone.

Does it work offline?

Career and practice work with no connection at all. Duels and the daily challenge need the internet, because they are played against other people's runs.

Am I racing real people?

You are racing their recorded runs, live on your screen, at the moment you choose. If no suitable human run exists at your rating, you race a bot — clearly marked as one.

How do you stop cheaters?

The server replays every submitted run in the same deterministic physics and computes the time itself. A time that does not match the touches that produced it never reaches a leaderboard.

Which languages are supported?

Ten: English, Turkish, German, French, Spanish, Portuguese (Brazil), Russian, Japanese, Korean and Simplified Chinese.

Which devices do I need?

An iPhone or iPad on iOS 13 or newer, or an Android phone on Android 8 or newer. The game is built for 60 fps on modest hardware.
