Privacy policy
This policy explains what data the Slingstar mobile game ("the Game") and this website, slingstargames.com ("the Site"), process. The Game does not ask for and does not collect your email address, phone number, real name or location.
1. Data stored on your device
Medals, best times, personal-best ghosts, star dust, trail cosmetics, offline league rating, sound settings and your "Remove Ads" status are stored on your device. You can erase all of it with Settings → "Reset progress", or by deleting the Game.
Notifications (optional)
If you switch reminders on in Settings, the app subscribes to a notification topic for your language through Firebase Cloud Messaging. We do not store a device list and cannot link a notification to a person; we only send one weekly message per language. Switching reminders off in Settings unsubscribes the device immediately, and you can also block notifications in your system settings.
2. Data processed on our server for the online league
For the Duel and Daily modes we use our server running on Google Firebase (Google LLC). On first connection the Game creates an anonymous player id for you. The server stores:
- your anonymous player id, the pilot name you choose and a random tag (for example Nova#1234),
- your league rating, win and loss counts and match records,
- your race recordings (the timing and position of your touches), used to verify your result and to show you to other players as a ghost rival,
- your daily challenge times,
- device attestation tokens that Firebase App Check uses to confirm the app has not been modified (Apple App Attest / Google Play Integrity).
Your pilot name, rating, times and race recordings are visible to other players. This data is processed to provide the competitive features of the Game (performance of a contract / legitimate interest).
Deleting your data
Inside the Game, Settings → "Delete my online account and data" immediately and permanently deletes your online account and everything on the server (profile, rating, match records, ghosts, daily times, reports you sent). If you no longer have access to the app, follow the steps on the account deletion page.
Reporting and blocking
You can report an inappropriate pilot name or a player you suspect of cheating, and block them, from inside the Game. Reports (the anonymous ids of the reporter and the reported player, the reason and the date) are kept for moderation only. Names reported by several players are hidden automatically.

Data may be processed on Google servers in Europe (europe-west1) and other regions. Google: policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites and firebase.google.com/support/privacy. Apple: apple.com/legal/privacy.
4. Personalised ads and consent
- Users in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland are asked for consent before advertising data is processed. You can change your choice under Settings → "Ad privacy settings".
- On iOS, App Tracking Transparency permission is requested for access to the advertising identifier. If you decline, ads are not personalised.
- When "Remove Ads" is purchased, banner and interstitial ads are not shown. Rewarded videos only play if you choose to watch one.
5. Children
The Game is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them.
6. Retention
Race recordings and match records are kept while your account exists and are cleaned up automatically once they are no longer needed for the league (ghosts and match records older than 90 days). Accounts that have not connected for two years are deleted. Deleting your account removes everything immediately.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the processing of your data, and to data portability. The fastest route to deletion is in the Game itself; for anything else write to info@slingstargames.com and we will answer within 30 days. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
8. This website
slingstargames.com sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device. To see how many people visit and which pages are read, the site uses Google Analytics in its cookieless mode: no identifier is written to your browser, so a later visit cannot be linked to an earlier one.
What is measured: the page you opened, its language, the approximate country the request came from, the site or search that sent you here, and the browser and device type. We are the data controller; Google Ireland Limited processes it on our behalf. There is no advertising, no profiling and no cross-site tracking on this website.
9. Changes
If this policy changes, the new version appears on this page with a new effective date and, for significant changes, inside the Game.
